Re: ABCP ExamPosted by Michael Kuras (64.27.139.178) on February 24, 2006 at 10:22:08: In Reply to: ABCP Exam posted by Nimish Athalye on January 20, 2006 at 03:51:26: Having recently passed the certification exam, I would HIGHLY recommend studying and UNDERSTANDING the "Professional Practices for Business Continuity Professionals" available at www.drii.org. The certification exam is not "title" specific - in other words, the same exam is used for all certification levels (there are exam variations as to the question content - there are 150 questions on the exam, but two exams may have a different set of questions for security purposes) - your certification level is dependent upon your passing score (minimum of 75%) and your years / amount of experience. If I remember correctly, for ABCP certification, you need a score of 75%, for CBCP you need 80%, etc. I can assure you that the certification is EARNED, not given. The questions are multiple choice, but on more than a few questions, the wording of the question/answers leaves a LOT open to interpretation! Study the Professional Practices, study them again, and do it a 3rd, 4th, and 5th time...the more time you spend, the better your chance will be. Good Luck, P.S. Feel free to email me at mike_kuras@nasasupport.com if you have questions.
